Historically informed performance and contemporary music for the baroque lute.

Danijel Jurišić is a Croatian lutenist dedicated to the interpretation of 17th- and 18th-century baroque repertoire and the creation of contemporary music for the baroque lute.

Rooted in historically informed performance practice, his work combines stylistic clarity with an exploration of the instrument’s expressive potential in a contemporary context.

His concert programmes establish a dialogue between early music and present-day composition.
